Amy Zavatto is a New York-based writer who was bound to end up writing about booze, as her grandfather was a home wine-making Italian immigrant and her dad a Scotch-loving butcher. Her favorite cocktail is the Manhattan and all its variations. Amy writes about cocktails, spirits, wine, and food for Imbibe, Whisky Advocate, Shape, Serious Eats, Brides, Wine Enthusiast, Hamptons, Edible Manhattan, and other publications.
