About the Book
Riverdale’s “It Girl” just got bit in this Archie Horror smash hit! The momentously monstrous foray into the darker side of Riverdale dawns in this deluxe collection re-presenting the brutally hilarious and gorgeously rendered “coming-of-rage” tale written and illustrated by multiple Eisner Award winner Greg Smallwood (Human Target, Moon Knight), with Meg Smallwood and Greg Scott (Gotham Central)! Veronica Lodge had it all. Beauty, brains, popularity, and a bulging bank account—until an encounter with a master vampire turned her into a teenage bloodsucker with no curfew and more than one reason to reap revenge! But is this newly turned vamp a villain for the ages . . . or simply misunderstood? As she grapples with her horrific transformation, the girl-turned-creature called Vampironica must fight the insatiable thirst for blood that calls to her at every sunset . . . even as her beloved former friends Archie, Betty, and Dilton seek to put a stake through the vampiric plague that threatens to drain Riverdale to the last drop. Collecting Vampironica #1–5.
