About the Book

From legendary entrepreneur and venture capitalist Jürgen Ingels, fifty practical lessons for building a successful business.

You have a business idea. Maybe it’s been nagging at you for years, or maybe it hit you last week in a flash of inspiration. Either way, you're wondering: is this idea good enough? Do I take the risk? Where do I even start?

Or perhaps you’ve already started. You got your business off the ground, but the path forward is unclear, and you feel like your profits just don’t match the effort you’re putting in.

Start, Grow, Sell is your invaluable roadmap to building a profitable business. Packed with fifty practical strategies for navigating marketing, sales, HR, team dynamics, financial structures, and more, this book offers an unvarnished take on what it really takes to start, grow, and sell a successful company from scratch. You’ll learn:

- Why micro-progress is the key to success, and a simple formula for making micro-progress every day.
- How to effectively fundraise and convert investor interest into real cash investment.
- What it takes to create a winning team, and how to get the best out of your people.
- The most common pitfalls that lead to startup failure and how to avoid them.
- Why entrepreneurship must be fun, and how to preserve that spirit throughout the journey.

This book isn’t your traditional business playbook. It doesn’t promise a magic formula, because (spoiler alert) there isn’t one. Rather, Ingles offers hard-won lessons that anyone can immediately implement, and the result is a must-have guide to scaling a business for every entrepreneur.
