Jürgen Ingels

Jürgen Ingels started his career as investment manager at Dexia Ventures, the venture capital arm of Dexia. He founded and successfully sold Clear2Pay, a pioneering fintech company that grew into a global player. Today, he is managing partner at SmartFin, a large venture capital fund of that finances and supports growing European tech companies. Additionally, he’s launching Europe’s first Space & Defence fund. Beyond his investments, Jürgen is the driving force behind various start-ups and scale-ups, and SuperNova — Europe’s leading inspiration event about tech and innovation. In addition, Jürgen serves on the boards of various companies and is known to a wider audience from the Belgian TV program “Leeuwenkuil” (Dragon’s Den).
