Raves and Reviews

The short sentences and the alliterative P's, all emphasizing the cooperative pizza-and-taco making in the kitchen, make this a really accessible read. The book also makes cooking as a family look fun. The bright, cartoonlike illustrations are filled with comic and meaningful details, like the standoff between Pia and her family in one two-page spread, with Pia and a cat facing her family and the pug. This pops!
