Space Miners come in conflict with Corporate raiders in remote space
The Antarean network is a vast, monolithic machine, capable of uniting mankind in all its forms and creeds, the device’s sheer scale dwarfing any form of true comprehension or understanding. But survival in such a connected universe is not guaranteed, and many of the more diverse offshoots of humanity find themselves set awash within the great area of space known simply as the Determinate. Surrounded by war-like, colossal empires and struggling under the constant threat of starvation and destitution, a small band of Boromites operating under the Jent banner, itinerant workers with no world to call their own, attempt to eke out a meagre living.
Through desperation and necessity, the actions of some Jent members bring them into conflict with the far larger and more powerful Ret clan, a league of rival Boromites with powerful connections within their local sector. Trapped in a blood feud with an adversary they can ill afford to combat, the Jent guild attempt to find a way to free themselves from their predicament but fall afoul of the overwhelming military might of their foe’s new, mercurial allies.
With their Guildess held in enemy hands, and tensions running high within the rest of the guild, a small group of gang fighters take it upon themselves to free their Matriarch through any means necessary, even if it requires them to sacrifice their own lives in the process.
