Yuyi Chen was born in New York City. She has fond memories of road trips across country in a tiny car with her parents and three siblings. She worked in the gaming industry designing characters and environments, 3D modeling, texturing, and animation. Her past clients include Dreamworks Interactive, Electronic Arts, Kemco, Cartoon Network, Warner Bros. Entertainment, and the Los Angeles Zoo. Yuyi likes working in watercolor, acrylic, ink, and sometimes digitally. She loves reading, listening to her children laugh, and sleeping. If she wasn't an artist, she would be a professional daydreamer. Yuyi currently lives in Seattle with her family and LOTS of pet spiders (that she can't seem to get rid of).
