As an OB-GYN physician, Renda brings authentic medical expertise to her fiction, crafting stories where life-and-death stakes feel viscerally real. When she’s not writing or caring for patients, she tends her peony farm in Homer, Alaska, where she lives with her husband surrounded by the rugged beauty that inspires her work.
