When she’s not writing or caring for patients, she tends her peony farm in Homer, Alaska, where she lives with her husband surrounded by the rugged beauty that inspires her work. The mother of seven adult children, Renda has mastered the art of finding calm in chaos, a skill that serves her well both in the delivery room and when plotting her next thriller. She co-hosts the MamaDoc BabyDoc podcast with her daughter, a pediatrician.
