About The Book

A laugh-packed middle grade comic collection featuring big personalities, school chaos, and Nate Wright at his loudest and funniest.

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING SERIES!

Middle school has never been this hilarious! Big Nate: Out Loud follows sixth grader Nate Wright through all his trademark shenanigans—pranks, classroom chaos, dodging homework, rocking out with his band, and navigating the ups and downs of friendship, sports, and family life. Nate’s energy, mischief, and laugh-out-loud antics make every strip a mini adventure.

With his loyal friends Francis and Teddy along for the ride, Nate tackles peer pressure, teamwork, self-discovery, and the endless quest to fit in—while staying delightfully, unapologetically himself. Lincoln Peirce's strips capture classic Big Nate moments: detention disasters, soccer triumphs (and fails), music mayhem, homework hacks, and hilarious school and home life mishaps.

With expressive illustrations, relatable humor, and quick-reading comic strips, Big Nate Out Loud keeps kids entertained from beginning to end. The highly visual storytelling makes this collection especially engaging for reluctant readers and fans of funny graphic novels.

  • High-energy comic strips filled with middle school humor and comic chaos
  • Relatable school situations kids ages 8–10 will love
  • Easy-to-read illustrated format that encourages reading confidence
