Moving across the ocean, she graduated with a degree in biology and history from Columbia University and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in crime science. Her academic research centers on organized crime and human trafficking, but in her spare time, Veronica enjoys writing anti-heroines and imperfect heroes.
