Valentina Federici lives in Switzerland, near the mountains and Lake Geneva, but grew up in Perugia, Italy, in a house with only one children’s book. As an avid reader, she solved this problem by inventing her own stories, a practice she continued even after becoming a lawyer. Her works include the Emozionauti duology, Viaggio oltre l’ignoto (A Journey Beyond the Unknown), Storie di montagna (Mountain Stories), and Death to the Witch (Morte Alla Strega).
