About The Author

Stephen Embleton was born in South Africa and has been based in Oxford since his 2022 fellowship at the African Studies Centre, University of Oxford. He was awarded a Royal Literary Fund grant in 2024, and edited The James Currey Anthology 2022, featuring short fiction and non-fiction from the African continent and diaspora.
