Sally Deems-Mogyordy has been writing professionally twenty-five years, primarily for greeting cards, calendars, posters, and catalogs, working with companies such as Portal Publications, Marcel Shurman (Papyrus), and American Greetings. Her creativity has been recognized by the Louie Awards (for originality in greeting cards) and the National Calendar Awards. Her latest project is a calendar with National Wildlife Federation award-winning photographer Bryan Holiday entitled “Winged Journey: A 16 Month Celebration of Birds.”
