Robert Marcom is an anthropologist, archaeologist, and educator whose fieldwork spans the American South and Ecuador. He is the founder of Friends of Ikiam, supporting Amazonian Indigenous-led initiatives, and the author of Digging Up Texas. He holds an MA in anthropology from the University of Houston and lives in Cuenca, Ecuador.
