Ravi Teixeira is a Cape Verdean American transgender cartoonist. They enjoy telling stories about gay cowboys and gothic romance, and their work has been in such anthologies as Dates 3 (Margins) and Becoming Who We Are(A Wave Blue World). Their work sensitiv reading has been acclaimed, and they've also been featured on right-wing websites as a real terror. They live in Canada with their boyfriend, a dog named Sahara, and a cat named Charlie.
