About The Author

Peter Berczeller was forced to flee Austria in the 1930s, and came to America by way of France, where he established himself as a medical internist and writer. He studied at the University of Chicago and opened a practice as Doctor of Internal Medicine in New York. He died in 2019 at the age of eighty-two.
