Ola Salem

Ola Salem is the founding managing editor of New Lines Magazine and has written for other outlets like The Guardian, The Washington Post, Al Jazeera, The National, and Foreign Policy, covering topics like culture, history, and politics in and outside of the Arab world. While writing this book, she traveled to Grasse, France, and the Arab Gulf to study perfumery.
