Marc Burckhardt

Marc Burckhardt’s paintings have graced the covers of many books and albums, including June Carter Cash's Wildwood Flower, a portrait of Johnny Cash included in the Grammy-winning package design for The Legend: Johnny Cash and John Carter’s first picture book, Momma Loves Her Little Son. "I see this book as the second verse of a favorite family song, and I'm grateful to John Carter for asking me to accompany him on it." Marc lives with his wife Janice in Austin, Texas.
