Lisa Rao is a children's book editor and author with over twenty years’ experience in publishing. She spent over fifteen years in the children's division of Simon & Schuster, where she was an executive editor for Simon Spotlight. Before that she freelanced at HarperCollins, Nickelodeon, and Time for Kids. Lisa loves creating stories that make children laugh and encourages them to dream big. One Pizza to Go! is Lisa’s first picture book, and she has a personal connection to pizza: She is related to the family behind the legendary Rao’s restaurant and its famous line of homemade sauces.
