About The Author

Laurel Saville is an author and dog behavior consultant. She has an MFA in creative writing and literature from the writing seminars at Bennington College and is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. She's the author of three novels, a memoir, and many other works published in the Los Angeles Times Sunday magazine, House BeautifulThe Bark, and NYTimes.com, among others. She also works with dogs and humans to help them better understand, communicate with, and enjoy each other. Laurel lives in the Pacific Northwest where she and her dog Willow spend a lot of time in the woods looking for truffles and waterfalls.
