Landon Bryant

Landon Bryant, a Laurel, Mississippi native, spent nearly a decade teaching art in public schools where he won Mississippi Elementary Art Educator of the Year before turning his gift for storytelling into a viral platform. Encouraged by his wife, he launched “let’s discuss…” videos explaining Southern slang and customs; his straightforward takes on expressions like “bless your heart” have attracted over a million followers and led to book deals and national TV spots. Today, he is an author and comedian who performs observational stand-up on tour, co-hosts the LandonTalks with Kate podcast, and has released the field guide Bless Your Heart (2025) and ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, Ya’ll (2025), his southern retelling of the holiday classic. He continues to live in Laurel with his family and uses his growing platform to candidly examine Southern food, etiquette, and language.
