About The Author

Karin Lei grew up among the woks and pots of her Taiwanese parents' restaurants. Raised on the flavours of Taiwan, Guangdong, Japan, and Vietnam, she developed a deep passion for Cantonese cuisine and dim sum—a connection she nurtured through cherished family meals, Cantonese TV series and music, and later through her own travels to Hong Kong and Taiwan. Today, Karin is training to become a tea sommelier and has opened her first restaurant, Sanlo, in Sweden. Dumplings & Dim Sum is her debut cookbook.
