About The Author

Jul began his professional life as a teacher of Chinese history at university, but soon became a political cartoonist for various newspapers, including Charlie Hebdo. In 2005 he published his first graphic novel, and in 2009 created Silex in the City, a huge hit that was made into a cartoon for Franco-German TV channel Arte.
