Joely Rogers

Joely C. Rogers is an illustrator and writer living in the Southern Appalachian Mountains, a region where misty mornings and an abundance of flora and fauna quietly shape her work. Born and raised in the American South, she grew up immersed in the region's storytelling traditions. Its influences continue to inform her love of folklore, myth, and the unseen. Joely has professional training in natural science illustration, along with graduate studies in folklore, storytelling, and language education, influences that allow her to blend careful observation with symbolic narrative. For more than two decades, she co-owned Frame Destination LLC, gaining deep insight into art, craft, and audience connection. Her current work, including the Hidden Creatures Oracle, weaves together regional folklore, ecological awareness, and visual magic, inviting others to explore the wonder that lingers just beyond the edge of the known world.
