Jim Palmer
About The Author
Jim Palmer is among the most revered pitchers in MLB history. After joining the Baltimore Orioles in 1965, Palmer became a key figure in the club, capturing three Cy Young awards and clinching four pennants, and is the only pitcher in major-league history to win World Series games in three different decades. In addition to his legacy as one of the greatest pitchers in history, Palmer has worked as a regular announcer for the Orioles since 1988 and has published several books, including Pitching and Together We Were Eleven Foot Nine. Palmer’s No. 22 was retired by the Orioles, and he was elected to their Hall of Fame in 1986.
