About The Author

Jill Althouse-Wood is a writer and artist living in Arden, Delaware—a century-old intentional arts village. A Place Called Arden grew from her midlife move into this historic community and her experience of how participation, creativity, and everyday acts of stewardship shape a rooted life. She continues to paint and cook communal suppers from the cottage in the woods she shares with her husband, Mark, and their two small, opinionated dogs.
