Jason Hollinger is a photographer specializing in macrophotography with a deep interest in lichens, fungi, and plants. He studied physics and mathematics at Caltech and his work has been published in academic journals, including The Lichenologist and The Bryologist. He is currently based in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina.
