James Mumford is a Senior Fellow at the University of Virginia’s Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture. His articles and essays have appeared in The New Atlantis, The Hedgehog Review, and The Guardian, among other publications across the US and the UK. A former Henry Fellow at Yale University, he received his PhD from Oxford University. He lives in London.
