J.K. Meath

J.K. Meath is the pen name of Jason Killian Meath, a television producer and writer whose honors include the CINE Golden Eagle and the Discovery Channel Documentary Award, and whose programs have appeared on the Discovery Channel, PBS, USA Network, and ABC Family. Having launched his storytelling career at sixteen as a Top 40 radio DJ, he is the author of Hollywood on the Potomac and co-author of the picture book The Pepperoni Palm Tree with his then seven-year-old son, Aidan. That same son critiqued every chapter of The Lookshop Explorers as it was written. A descendant of the poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Meath earned his BA in English from Hampden-Sydney College and studied screenwriting at Columbia University. He divides his time between Palm Beach, Florida, and Washington, DC, where he lives with his wife, Renee. The Lookshop Explorers is his first novel.
