Hervé Commère

After studying modern literature, Hervé Commère became a bartender and a bar owner. He is the author of several short stories and novels in French, including Les ronds dans l’eau, winner of the Prix marseillais du polar; Imagine le reste, winner of the plume de cristal at the international Festival international du film policier de Liège; Ce qu’il nous faut, c’est un mort, Prix Polars Pourpres et Prix Polar à Mauves-sur-Loire; and Sauf, which was well-received by critics and general audiences alike. His work has been translated to Japanese, Chinese, and English.
