Gregor Hasler

Gregor Hasler, M.D. is a Swiss psychiatrist and professor of psychiatry at the University of Fribourg, where he serves as Chair of Psychiatry and Head of the Psychiatry Research Department. Internationally trained in Switzerland, France, and the UK, he is a leading expert in mood disorders, neurobiology, and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. His authority in the field is grounded in decades of clinical practice, molecular neuroimaging research at the U.S. National Institute of Mental Health, and his leadership of academic psychedelic research programs in Switzerland. Dr. Hasler has authored five books and more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and has received major honors, including the NARSAD Independent Investigator Award and the Robert Bing Award. He is actively involved in international psychiatric organizations and the scientific development of innovative mental health treatments.
