About The Author

Delphine Perret has a degree from the Decorative Arts School in Strasbourg. She is the author-illustrator of more than a dozen titles published at Éditions Thierry Magnier and l’Atelier du Poisson Soluble, which have been translated into several languages. She has illustrated many other titles at Le Seuil, Syros, and Bayard. Her work is often very minimalist. She explores subjects such as the relationship between text and images, words and their sounds, everyday life and the imagination we can instill into it. She lives in Lyon, France, where she also cofounded an art gallery. Visit her at ChezDelphine.net.
