David Thompson

David Thompson is one of Australia’s leading chefs, restaurateurs and food writers, and an ambassador of Thai food and culture. His restaurants have increased the awareness and appreciation of authentic Thai cooking across the world. His restaurant Nahm, opened in London's Halkin Hotel in 2001, was the first Thai restaurant to receive a Michelin star. Nahm Bangkok was listed as Asia's best restaurant in 2014, received a Michelin star in 2017 and remained on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list for seven consecutive years.
