Crystal Wynter Pillifant

Crystal Wynter Pillifant gained cultural understanding of Latin America while living in Mexico with her then-husband, Jorge, and their three daughters. Later, she earned a master’s degree in teaching from Portland State University and began her career at Barnes Elementary in Beaverton, Oregon, where she taught in a bilingual classroom for twenty years. After retiring, she supervised bilingual student teachers for Lewis & Clark College in Portland. Crystal now lives in Port Townsend, Washington, where she lives with her present husband, Leo, and their two cats.
