About The Author

Caitlin Chisling is a Canadian author of young adult fantasy fiction. Inspired by sharp-toothed fairytales and her own experiences as a neurodivergent woman, Caitlin writes stories featuring strange magic and stranger girls. Diagnosed as autistic at the age of sixteen, Caitlin’s writing heavily focuses on disability, neurodivergence, and what it feels like to grow up in a world that wasn’t quite built for you. Her work has been published in multiple online publications such as NeurodiversifiedDestigmatizedThe Writing Cooperative, and The Good Men Project. What the Wind Said is her debut novel.
