Babi Wrobel

Babi Wrobel is an illustrator, author, artist, and art teacher. Over a career spanning 25 years, she has illustrated more than 30 children's books, two of which she also wrote. She holds a degree in Illustration from Pratt Institute in New York and a degree in Graphic Design from PUC-Rio in Rio de Janeiro. Her illustrations have appeared in advertising, books, magazines, murals, prints, fashion, packaging, and even on postage stamps. Over time, Babi chose to focus on children's books. She enjoys working with both digital techniques and traditional materials such as watercolor, pastels, and colored pencils, and often combines them within a single piece. Her greatest joy as an artist is inspiring people to see the good, magical and playful side of life, whether through her images, her stories, or her teaching.
