Shortly after receiving her bachelor’s degree in professional writing from Baylor University, she, her husband, and their two pets relocated to the Pacific Northwest. While she enjoys a good love poem, she hopes to continue her mental health advocacy by writing on topics like depression, trauma, and recovery.
