Achy Obejas

Achy Obejas was born in Havana, Cuba and now lives outside San Francisco. She has received a Pulitzer Prize for her work as a journalist at the Chicago Tribune and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Poetry, among other honors. Her most recent book as an author, The Tower of the Antilles, was a PEN/Faulker finalist. She has translated into Spanish Junot Díaz's The Brief Wonderful Life of Oscar Wao, as well as Adam Mansbach & Ricardo Cortes' picture book Go the F**k to Sleep, among many other titles.
