Ken Rush

Ken Rush balances his time between Brooklyn and Vermont. He is a painter who has had numerous solo exhibitions since 1985 and has work in the permanent collections of the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the Brooklyn Historical Society, The New York State Museum, and more. In the 1990s, he wrote and illustrated children’s books The Seltzer Man, Friday’s Journey, and What About Emma?. Ken lives in Brooklyn and maintains a full-time studio practice.
