About the Authors

Jadzia Axelrod is the author of Galaxy: The Prettiest Star, Galaxy: As the World Falls Down and Hawkgirl: Once Upon a Galaxy for DC Comics, The DC Book of Pride for DK, as well as comics for Tor, Quirk Books, and Epic! Books. She lives in Philadelphia where she cooks needlessly elaborate meals for her wonderful wife and delightful child.

James Patrick is an award-winning comic book writer and Editor-in-Chief of 21 Pulp, whose work brings sharp creativity and narrative depth to both iconic characters and original storytelling. S. Kelley. She has taught creative writing classes online and in person on a variety of topics and was given the honor of lecturing on the life and works of Mary Shelley at the Library of Congress. JAMES III is a writer, producer, and actor, best known for co-creating and co-starring in ASTRONOMY CLUB: THE SKETCH SHOW (Netflix). He was writer on FAIRLY ODDPARENTS: A NEW WISH (Nickelodeon) and a punch up writer for GOOD BURGER 2 (Paramount+). James’ TV appearances include ABBOTT ELEMENTARY (ABC), BLACK MIRROR (Netflix), BIG MOUTH (Netflix), and A BLACK LADY SKETCH SHOW (HBO). About the Illustrators

Salvatore Callerami, class of '88, was born in Catania, Sicily. Always dedicated to drawing since childhood, he became passionate about comics and began publishing fantasy comics in Italy such as Dandelion, esprimi un desiderio and LGBTQ+ themed comics Lui e l’Orso and Le becchine Tubanera. He works for various Italian publishing houses including Deagostini and Fabbri, and for France, drawing the comic Rossi Addict and the game book Minecraft - Échappe-toi!. He now draws for Mad Cave/Papercutz, including Phineas and Ferb and Miraculous Chibi.

Born in 1997 in Genoa, Mattia Secci began collaborating in 2015 with the independent label Bad Moon Rising Production under the stage name Drugo. In 2018 he started publishing the series Napalm in Bad Moon Rising Magazine, which concluded with issue 10 of the magazine. In 2019, he graduated from the International School of Comics in Turin.

He contributed as illustrator to Rovere – disponibile anche a fumetti and Fast Animals and Slow Kids – come reagire al presente, both published by Beccogiallo in 2020.

In 2022, he published the story Quel pomeriggio di un giorno da Panik in issue 434 of Lupo Alberto, launched the series Belzebay in FART: The Bad Moon Rising Magazine, and began collaborating with Other Universe Entertainment as illustrator for the series L’ultimo dei miei giorni. In 2024, he illustrated the story Non è divertente fare i meme di Lupo Alberto in Lupo Alberto 447. In 2025, he created the illustrations for the books Among Us – L’impostore mutaforma and Minecraft – Le mod dell’inganno, published by Gallucci Editore.

Since 2020 he has been working on the self-published action series Panik, which currently consists of four issues.
