Jim Tselikis grew up in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, a prominent headland that marks the southern entrance to Casco Bay and home to the infamous Portland Head Light. From its rocky shores, one can see a bustling community of lobster boats fishing Casco Bay’s rich waters, and colorful lobster buoys dotting the coastline. From an early age, Jim was immersed in traditions that defined the region’s coastal culture, helping his parents Julie and Steve steam bounties of Maine lobsters for family celebrations and holidays. Gathering around wooden picnic tables, with the summer sun shining, Jim and his family would sit, drenched up to their elbows in buttery Maine lobster. In 2012, after Cousins Maine Lobster was birthed, Jim and his cousin Sabin appeared on ABC’s hit show Shark Tank, where they partnered with Barbara Corcoran. Since then, Cousins Maine Lobster has grown to 100 units nationwide, with more to come.

Raised in Scarborough, Maine, Sabin Lomac grew up a stone’s throw from a working waterfront, where lobster traps line the docks and the local economy centers around lobster. Growing up in a single-parent household with his loving mom, Jeannie, Sabin quickly developed an appreciation for both family and the traditions that bring family together. After being crowned the “man of the house” at a young age, Sabin went to work and hasn’t stopped yet. He learned that hard work, though not always pretty, will always win in the end.
