About The Authors

Greg Rucka is a New York Times bestselling author of hundreds of comics and nearly two dozen novels. He has written for film, television, and video games, and he is currently developing his Image series LAZARUS, co-created by Michael Lark, with Legendary Pictures and Matt Tolmach Productions. His career has included critically acclaimed and Eisner-winning work in both the creator-owned and work-for-hire arenas. Rucka lives in Portland, Oregon, with his wife, author Jennifer Van Meter, and their two children, Elliot and Dashie.

David Brothers was born in Georgia, found a new home in Oakland, edits Japanese manga for a living and American comics for a change of pace, and writes fiction for fun when he's not sitting by the dock of the bay.

Eric Trautmann is a comic book writer, editor, and graphic designer. His most recent work with Image Comics is THE FORGED with Greg Rucka and Mike Henderson. He splits his time between Raymond, Wa (where he resides) and Lacey, WA (where his wife runs the best comic shop ever).

Raves and Reviews

“Many a contemporary dystopian comic flirts with the idea of a world driven to ruin by greed, but few do so in as relevant a manner as LAZARUS.” -IGN

“LAZARUS embodies everything I want in a comic book: dystopian near-future, hard sci-fi, badass female protagonist, contemporary social and political themes, blistering action, a touch of pathos, art that makes me feel like I can smell the cordite and taste the dirt.” -Comicosity

“In addition to being a compelling story that's up there with the best TV dramas, LAZARUS is newly relevant...As the real world feels ever closer to dystopia, LAZARUS is a powerful warning against where we could be headed.” -Salon
