Cult indie band with a fanatical following

Emerging from new Scottish town anonymity during the early 1980, The Jesus And Mary Chain have carved a path through alternative music that is as confrontational as it is hypnotic. Formed by brothers Jim and William Reid, the band fused sweet, 1960s-style pop melodies with walls of distortion, feedback, and drum-machine minimalism, creating a sound both nostalgic and dangerous. Reuniting a decade later for well-received live dates around the world, the Reid brothers rewarded fans with Damage And Joy (2017) and Glasgow Eyes (2024), proving their chemistry - and their knack for blending beauty with chaos – has remained intact.
