Marce Pacheco (1984, Costa Rica) is an author and illustrator who divides her time between Argentina and Costa Rica. She creates expressive and dynamic picture books that explore emotions, belonging, the wonder of everyday life, and respect for animals, seeking to connect children and their adults through sensitivity and curiosity. She trained in picture book illustration at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes (UNA) in Buenos Aires and studied with illustrators such as Juan Devoto, Horacio Gatto, and Mónica Weiss. Her illustrations have been exhibited at the Library of Congress of the Argentine Nation together with the Argentine Association of Illustrators. A lifelong animal lover, she shares her home with Domingo and Pepino, her furry companions. She enjoys humor, good stories, and finding beauty in the small moments of everyday life.
