Dr. SHAOQING SUN is the founder and chief geoscientist of C&C Reservoirs, a leading provider of analog intelligence to the global energy industry. Over three decades, he built the Digital Analogue Knowledge System (DAKS), a platform relied on by the world's top energy companies to reduce risk and guide investment decisions. Dr. Sun holds a PhD in Reservoir Geology from the University of Reading and a BSc in Petroleum Geology from Northeast Petroleum University, has published more than twenty peer-reviewed scientific papers, and won the AAPG Excellent Poster Award. His own journey from burnout to conscious leadership—one that cost him nearly everything before it saved him—inspired his book, From Burnout to Bliss. He lives with his family in Beijing and London.
