About the Book

She was raised on the wisdom that helped millions, but was living without the one thing she wanted: peace.

Gretchen was born into the exceptional Harris family—raised by loving, brilliant parents so filled with wisdom and insight that they wrote one of the bestselling self-help books of all time, I’m OK—You’re OK. People would meet her and expect her to be okay, but she knew that was not the case at all.

Through her late teens and early adult years, she was held captive by the agonizing rituals of OCD, with her days dictated by fear and darkness. Even as she masked her struggles, she was painfully aware that all the insight and knowledge that surrounded her—and all that she herself possessed—could not set her free from this tormented life. It would take the truth of Someone greater.

Finally OK is the honest, hard-won story of a woman who had every answer the world could offer, but lacked the one thing she longed for—until she discovered it through the deep, abiding peace of a life lived with Christ.
