About The Authors

Delilah S. Dawson is the New York Times best-selling author of Star Wars: Phasma and the writer of the Blud series, the Hit series, Servants of the Storm, and the Shadow series, starting with Wake of Vultures and written as Lila Bowen, not to mention numerous short stories. With Kevin Hearne, she co-writes the Tales of Pell beginning with Kill the Farm Boy. She writes the creator-owned comics Sparrowhawk and Ladycastle and has written comics in the worlds of Adventure Time, Labyrinth, The X-Files Case Files, Star Wars Adventures, and Star Wars Forces of Destiny. She has won three RT Awards and has received stars from Publishers Weekly, Kirkus, Booklist, VOYA, and Library Journal. She lives in Florida with her family and is always online at whimsydark.com.

Since 1993, Zander Cannon has written and drawn comics about gods, robots, astronauts, police officers, paleontologists, aliens, feng shui masters, superheroes, and monsters. He lives in Minnesota with his strong wife, Julie, and above-average son, Jin.

Christopher Hastings is a comics writer with a cartooning degree from SVA. He scripted the NYT-bestselling graphic novel adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy's: The Twisted Ones and continues to adapt further books in the franchise. He is the writer and illustrator of the award-winning webcomic The Adventures of Dr. McNinja and co-creator of The Unbelievable Gwenpool. His other comic writing credits include Adventure Time, Deadpool, and Vote Loki, among many more. Christopher is also an improviser who plays the disgraced lich aristocrat Frederick de Bonesby on the narrative play podcast Rude Tales of Magic and helpful android Threadcount 900 on Oh These, Those Stars of Space.

Ryan North's recent work includes the nonfiction books How To Take Over The World and How To Invent Everything, the semi-fictional graphic novel adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse-Five, and the so-far-fictional Unbeatable Squirrel Girl series for Marvel. He's a multiple New York Times bestseller whose work has been translated into 16 different languages to date, and as a linguist, he's very happy about that. He lives in Toronto, where he once messed up walking his dog so badly it made the news.

About The Illustrators

Comic illustrators Shelli Paroline and Braden Lamb form an Eisner Award–winning art team collaborating on the Adventure Time comics, Midas, One Day a Dot and Making Scents. Braden is the colorist for several New York Times bestselling books, including Guts and The Baby-Sitters Club graphic novels. Shelli is co-director of a local arts festival, the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo (MICE). Together, they share a passion for graphic storytelling for all ages. They are married and live in Salem, Massachusetts.
