About the Book

Two hunky boys experience first love—and all the other firsts that go with it—while working at Comic-Con in costume in this sweet, sexy, and hilarious romp of a gay young adult rom-com perfect for fans of and Heartstopper and Red, White & Royal Blue.

Bailey Cullen has been lusting after Griffin O’Keefe, his gorgeous coworker at the Squidlandia Water Park, for weeks when the two finally have their meet-cute—well, maybe more of a meet-cringe—as Griffin plunges down a water slide while Bailey is left holding Griffin’s shorts. They both end up losing their jobs, and Griffin blames Bailey. But, hey, at least he knows Bailey exists now—right?

Griffin really needed that job. He’s been trying to help contribute so his mom isn’t always drowning in bills. But why can’t he get the image of his dark-haired hunk of a coworker out of his mind? It’s not like he’s gay or anything! So, as he frequently does, he buries his feelings, determined to get another job and move on with his life. After all, it’s not like he’ll ever see Bailey again.

But fate has other plans. Bailey and Griffin have both found rebound employment in the unlikeliest of places: San Diego Comic-Con. They each get gigs requiring them to wear costumes—or what little passes for their costumes. Griffin starts off determined to steer clear of Bailey, but amid the chaos that is Comic-Con, a chemistry is kindled that neither of them will be able to resist!

About the Author

Will Buono has attended far too many Comic-Cons, read way too many comic books, played endless hours of video games, and been infatuated with too many cute guys not to have written A Comic-Con Rom-Com. He hopes it will be a successful enough to convince his mother that he really wasn’t wasting his time and money on all those comic books, consoles and cartridges, and trips to San Diego. And who knows? Maybe it will even provide the opportunity for him to finally tell her that he’s gay! (Not that she probably doesn’t already know…) Will lives in New York City, but dreams of moving to San Diego.
