Malcolm MacDonald

Malcolm MacDonald edited Tempo, the quarterly magazine of modern music, and was a freelance writer on music and broadcaster. His books included Brahms and Schoenberg in the Master Musicians series, a study of the music of Edgard Varèse and volumes on the British composers Havergal Brian, John Foulds and Ronald Stevenson. He died in 2014.
